JINS to Open Second Los Angeles Store in Westfield Fashion Square in Fall 2016
SAN FRANCISCO, March 24
Japanese eyewear brand, JINS, announced today its fourth store opening in Westfield Fashion Square Mall in Los Angeles in Fall 2016. This is followed by JINS’ recent announcement to open in Westfield Valley Fair and Santa Anita Malls this summer.
The Fashion Square store will provide 1,800 square feet of retail space and have over 700 styles of exclusive eyewear. Unlike the open entrance of the Santa Anita and Valley Fair stores, the Fashion Square store will have glass entrance doors. JINS selected the natural beauty of wood for the Fashion Square store facade that is warm and welcoming for customers.
Like all the other JINS stores, customers can receive their glasses in 30 minutes via the lens-edging machine in the Workshop. Customers will also be able to receive eye exams in 15 minutes, which will be provided by a third party. They will offer $40 refractions and $60 comprehensive exams.

JINS is a Japanese eyewear company, which was founded in 2001. The brand has 360 retail locations in Asia, including Japan, China and Taiwan and opened its first U.S. store in San Francisco in April 2015. At JINS, customers can receive their prescription eyewear in less than 30 minutes and select over 1,000 styles all designed in Tokyo. Prices of frames start at $60 and include single-vision aspheric lenses and standard coatings. In addition, consumers with a strong prescription will automatically receive a free upgrade to thinner lenses. In March 2016, the Union Square store won the 1st place award in Retail Design Institute’s Hard-Line Specialty category for excellence in store design.
