JINS to Open Doors at Westfield Valley Fair
SAN FRANCISCO, September 15
JINS Eyewear, Japan’s largest eyewear brand by volume, officially announced today it has opened doors to its 2nd U.S. store on Thursday, September 15, 2016, located on the 2nd floor, adjacent to Old Navy at Westfield Valley Fair. The 2,300 square foot store features JINS’ signature 30-minute glasses and unique pricing from $60-$140 which includes high-index prescription lenses. JINS also opened its 3rd store today on September 15 at Westfield Santa Anita.
A New Way to Shop for Glasses
When you walk into the corner store at Valley Fair, you’ll notice the glasses perfectly organized on a grid system. Customers can choose from 960 styles of glasses, including both sunglasses and opticals. Every pair of JINS’ glasses is artfully designed by a team in Tokyo and is created with the passion and spirit of Japanese craftsmanship. JINS uses superior materials, and metal screws sourced exclusively from Japan. Additionally, many of the frames have Alternative Fit nose pads, made especially for those with low nose bridges. With affordable pricing and fast delivery, JINS brings a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience to its customers.
Capture Tech Experts in Silicon Valley
Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, JINS expects JINS SCREEN and JINS SCREEN NIGHT to be key products at Valley Fair. Launched in August 2015, JINS SCREEN blocks the blue light emitted by electronic devices, reducing digital eye strain. JINS also hopes to target the tech experts in the surrounding areas of South Bay who are experiencing digital eye strain as a result of staring at screens for long hours.
JINS Continues to Support NPOs through Cases for Causes
Over the past year, JINS has partnered with four non-profit organizations, such as San Francisco Baykeeper, Wildlife Conservation Network, Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California and Sub-Art for “Cases for Causes” – a collection of unique eyeglass cases inspired by the organizations’ missions. Customers can purchase each case for $5 and 100% of all sales will go toward the selected non-profit.
In 2001, the JINS brand was founded in Japan and has since expanded to become a global leader in crafting stylish, high-quality, and innovative eyewear at affordable prices. With 395* retail locations in Japan, China and Taiwan, JINS opened its first U.S. flagship store in Union Square, San Francisco in April 2015. Westfield Valley Fair and Westfield Santa Anita are JINS’ 2nd and 3rd U.S. stores, with another opening in Westfield Fashion Square in fall 2016.
